Robert (Mike) Campbell

The recently hired Butler County Port Authority Executive Director has 25 years of experience in economic development organizations including:

•Chambers of Commerce in Marysville and Union County
•Community Improvement Corporations in Belmont and Union County
•Government Executive Management in North Carolina
•Enterprise Zones for tax abatement in Union County.

Partnerships with local, regional and state organizations have been an important part of the program to manage economic development projects.

His experience is supported by education with a B.S.B.A from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Master of Arts from West Virginia University. A Certificate of Municipal Administration from the University of North Carolina and six NIMS Certification in Emergency Management for Homeland Security were obtained in 2006 and 2007. An Economic Development Certificate from Ohio State University in 1997 was a foundation course for additional economic development training.
