The Butler County Port Authority was formed in 2004 and organized in 2005 to provide creative financing option for medium and large-scale projects in Butler County. The Butler County Port Authority collaborates and partners with executives, economic development professionals, financial professionals, and the business community to encourage economic development in Butler County and Southeast Ohio. The goal is to promote and facilitate community development while enhancing economic development and quality of life in our region.

Conduit and fixed-rate financing opportunities for industrial, commercial and public projects, as well as government and private non-profit facilities.
Brownfield Development
As a conduit for local, state, and federal funding can help make brownfield redevelopment projects successful.
Public Infrastructure
Tax-increment financing (rated or non-rated) for land acquisition, construction of roads, public utilities and parking areas to support mixed use development.
Transportation
BCPA participates on the OKI Freight Working Group to improve transportation opportunities for Butler County.
